Motivation and discipline are things we all experience in life. Many times, we get a sudden kick from someone or something and start a task with great excitement. In the beginning, everything feels easy and energetic. However, as time passes, that drive slowly reduces, and we start feeling less motivated and more burdened about completing the task or reaching the finishing line. This is where motivation often fails, as it depends mainly on our emotions and the excitement of starting something new.
Discipline works in a different way. When we inculcate the habit of doing something in a disciplined manner, it helps us continue even when motivation fades. Over time, discipline becomes a habit, and gradually it turns into our second nature. It keeps us moving forward and helps us put in effort consistently towards the goal we once started with excitement.

Motivation may help us begin, but it does not always help us last till the end. Students need to develop discipline for their goals and stick to their chosen path. This helps them improve progressively, reach the finishing line, and prepare for future possibilities. In the process, discipline builds self-resilience, enabling them to face the many challenges that the future may hold.
